About Our Camp

The Explorer’s Camp is a pioneering initiative designed by licensed psychologists who have transformed their private practice therapeutic interventions into an enriching camp experience that benefits all children.

The camp is dedicated to fostering the mental well-being of children aged 7 to 11. Our camp is a vibrant, inclusive environment where all children—neurodiverse, neurotypical, clinical, and non-clinical—come together to learn essential mental health skills. We believe in the power of integration and strive to provide every child with access to comprehensive mental health education.

At Explorer’s Camp, we utilize evidence-based strategies rooted in brain development and mind-body research to teach children how to enhance their emotional well-being and improve their behaviors. Our curriculum is crafted to help young explorers understand the fundamentals of mental health, equipping them with the tools they need to become the BEST versions of themselves.

Three Core Pillars

Evidence-Based Strategies and Research-Proven Psychology Concepts:

We utilize scientifically backed methods to enhance emotional regulation and promote positive behaviors. Our curriculum is designed to provide children with practical tools and insights that are grounded in the latest psychological research.

Escape-Room Style Missions:

Our innovative approach includes engaging, interactive missions that captivate children’s attention and encourage teamwork. These activities are designed to challenge their problem-solving skills and foster collaboration, ensuring that learning is both fun and effective.

Diverse Learning Styles:

We cater to four different learning styles—reading/writing, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—ensuring that every child can engage with the material in a way that suits them best. Our emphasis on physical activity not only reinforces mental health concepts but also helps children apply what they’ve learned in dynamic and memorable ways.
